Every time you need to replace or reinstall a computer it may easily take half a day to ensure that is configured like the old one, protected against intruders and data abuse and that all data and programmes has been moved to the new one.

With a KAO solution the computer administration is automated, which leaves more time for working and less time for waiting.

Description:
A KAZO system includes a couple of components:

  • A  central server that manages the pc’s and works as a file server.
  • A number of workstations – either normal pc’s or thin clients.
  • A standard image for the clients with the core programmes preinstalled
  • Installation packages for all other programmes
  • Policies that prevents unauthorised changes in the configuratons.

Advantages:

  • A new pc can be up and running in less than half an hour after being unpacked.
  • All pc’s will ne identical
  • No maintennance of different images.

Options:
A KAZO solution can be extended with

  • a local mail server
  • Network equipment.
  • A router/firewall, that secures the installation against intrusion while still allowing remote support and monitoring
  • Conversion of existing pc’s to a managed solution.
